  • Todd McCloskey

Todd is a natural teacher who brings his passion for learning and teaching into the treatment room. Initially Todd had his heart set on conventional medicine for a career as he studied biology at Temple University. He soon realized that the concept of health and well-being was missing from his education. Todd then turned to Chinese medicine to begin to understand how to create and sustain health. He completed his Masters of Acupuncture and Doctorate in Chinese Medicine at Tai Sophia in Laurel Maryland.

Ever a student, Todd has continued to study with some of the greatest teachers in Chinese Medicine. He trained with Lonny Jarret , a famous acupuncturist, Jeffery Yuen, a renowned Daoist priest and healer and Andrew Neuget-Head an extremely accomplished acupuncturist who apprenticed under several famous traditional Chinese doctors.

Beyond Acupuncture , Todd is a certified Zero Balancer. Zero Balancing (ZB) is a form of bodywork where the practitioner balances the structure and energy of the body. Designed by Dr. Fritz Smith D.O., M.D., L.Ac., ZB utilizes both the Western understanding of structure and the Eastern understanding of energy. Todd also incorporates traditional Chinese massage called Tui Na into his practice for a variety of conditions. It is not uncommon for Todd’s treatments to weave together the best of acupuncture, body work and Herbal Medicine.

  • Edmund Morris

In practice since 2008, Edmund draws on a variety of tools and lenses to assess, define, and address problems. Using structural and functional approaches, as well as deep iterative inquiry, his process seeks to identify primary drivers of dysfunction. Coming from traditions of fluid movements (dance; martial arts), deep consideration (psychology; sociology), and functional pragmatism (culinary; project management), he blends and borrows to arrive at layered understandings of a problem - extraordinary or mundane - and its possible solutions.

Never content to simply “fix” an issue, his preference is to work with, not on, the person on the table: testing movement, soliciting and incorporating feedback, workshopping solutions away from the table. Whether assisting recovery from major surgeries, adapting strategies for chronic conditions, or helping new parents balance the physical demands of childcare, the focus is on bodywork for the life you live.
